郭昊文2000年1月31日出生于山东省青岛市城阳区，2012年郭昊文进入八一青年队，2018年9月进入八一男篮一队，随队参加2018-19赛季CBA联赛。郭昊文生涯至今先后效力于八一、上海和同曦。郭昊文主动报名参加了2021年NBA选秀，但遗憾未能被选上。
本赛季至今，郭昊文为同曦男篮出战29场常规赛，场均32.9分钟能得到16.2分4.0篮板3.0助攻，三项命中率为38.6/29.2/77.2%。
